Board of Realtors scholarship winners 2022

It felt like a parade of Aggies at the (ARBOR) last week. ARBOR awarded its annual scholarships for graduating high school seniors to five local students, four of them from 极速六合彩. Two of the 极速六合彩 recipients are heading to Texas A&M in August. The only student not from 极速六合彩 to win the award 鈥 she鈥檚 from Kennedale ISD 鈥 is also going to A&M.

The future Aggies include Sarah McDaniel from Martin High School, who plans to study English, and Camille Bretienstein, also from Martin High School and a soon-to-be biomedical science major.

Unfazed by the whoops from some in the crowd, Allison Williams proudly wore her future school on her t-shirt. The Arlington High School senior is going to study early childhood education at Dallas Baptist University.

When Arlington Collegiate High School鈥檚 Angela Rios accepted her scholarship, it was announced that she was choosing between UT Arlington and TCU. But the salutatorian revealed she鈥檇 made a decision and is going to be a Horned Frog and study biology.

极速六合彩 Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos was on hand to congratulate the students and give the realtors in attendance an update on the district.

鈥淲e want to set our students up for success whether they鈥檙e heading to college, into a career or military service,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful for the Arlington Board of Realtors because scholarships like these help that cause by taking away some of the financial burden these students will incur.鈥

ARBOR聽has helped local area high school seniors by providing financial assistance to offset college expenses since 2007. ARBOR awards five scholarships to five students graduating in Arlington, Mansfield, Midlothian or Waxahachie.

鈥淥ur ability to offer the scholarships to such deserving students is incredibly important to us,鈥 said Ian Craft, director of communications at ARBOR. 鈥淚nvesting in the future of our community is crucial! These students are going to go on and do great things. We get to play a small part in that greatness with the scholarship and can鈥檛 wait to see what they do next!鈥
