March 9, 2018 - The ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê hosted a General Contractor Symposium at the ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê Professional Development Center today to introduce upcoming construction projects to local general contractors. The architects hired to design the projects were on hand to meet with general contractors as well.

¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê Executive Director of Facilities Kelly Horn gave a brief presentation that outlined the 2014 Bond program and highlighted construction projects that will bid soon. The upcoming projects include 10 bid packages worth $129.1 million. Construction is scheduled to begin this spring.

The upcoming projects include:

• ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê Fine Arts Center
• ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê Athletics Complex
• Classroom and gym addition at Jones Academy (not a bond project)
• Deficiency work at 12 existing campuses
